First of all, in response to Matt:
Growing up in Redcliffe (QLD), Condell Park, Griffith and Umina I did a lot of things! I washed petrol tankers in Griffith, Worked at a Printer in Griffith, did a paper run in Condell Park, Washed a LOT of cars around Griffith door to door, worked in the Family Bakery at the Ettalong Markets, worked at Bakers Delight Woy Woy and plenty more I can't think of !
I left school in 1993 after completing Year 12 at Woy Woy High School.
I worked at Deloitte Touche Tomatsu in the Mail room, delivering mail around the building in Sussex St, and across the City.
I then went overseas for a couple of months, and returned to the great Deloitte.
Somewhere late 94 I started at Suttons City Holden at Rosebery, they had just opened, working in the Admin office, doing data entry and getting coffee's and driving people and cars around.
Sometime in 95 I left Suttons and became Manager of the Kwiksnax International Speedway at Gosford, which was a load of fun. I also worked as Event Co-Ordinator for the International Speedway Masters Series.
I started a company called Dragnet Internet in Junee around the same time, an ISP which expanded to Griffith and Albury, and worked a bit at ACAY Internet in Chatswood.
Around the same time (yes I was busy!) I started working at 2GB, on Sunday nights. Soon that became Saturday and Sundays, until in 1996 it became full time, producing the World of Football and other weekend programs as well as working on pretty much every weekday show at some point or another.
After the football season in 1998 after establishing the first 2GB website, I moved to Perth having established candelaEnterprises with my mate Adam Wyard, building websites for people.
In 2000, we worked on a huge project called OzSearch (great project, always destined to fail as a business though, but that wasn’t our problem we were just developers), which helped fund that first great BMW.
In 2001 I moved back to Sydney and where the love of radio saw me work at 2UE on Sports Tonight doing the phones, before long I was working on plenty of shows including Talking League with Ray Hadley.
in 2002, I moved to 2GB with Ray and worked on the Morning show, in 2003 I took over Production of the Continuous Call Team full time, as well as working on the morning show, and later in the year the Rugby World Cup.
In 2004 I produced the Athens Olympics coverage, as well as the Footy, in March of that year I finished up on Ray's Morning show, becoming Assistant Programme Director.
in 2007 I moved to a more dedicated Sports Role, as Executive Producer of Sports and Special Events, as well as starting to do the Thursday Night computer and technology show with Brian Wilshire.
June 2008 saw a big new change - A move to SBS Radio, as Business Affairs Manager!
It's action packed. I love hard work, and I love my Family, Amanda my Wife and Jackson my son!
