another way to get an application and all it's windows to the front is to click on the icon in the dock.

Remember, when you close all the windows of an application, it is still running. The applications icon will have a small tick under it in the dock when it is running.

Very few mac programs really quit when all the windows are closed.

One way to "force quit" is via the dock,

hold the option key down and mouse down on the icon in the dock for the application you wish to kill and instead of the menu having quit it changes to force quit. That usually kills the application.

I bought a Macbook 6 months ago after using a PC for many years and wouldn't look back now. The Mac is great fun to use and you always find new features and things as you 'dig' more into the system. One of the good things about the new Intel macs is that you can now install Windows on your system as well but I have to admit that I haven't felt the need for this and I'm worried that I'll need to install all of the security programs for Windows which you don't need on a mac. For home users, mac is the way to go!

Hey Trev,

It will be like moving from a Mac truck to a Ferrari.

Enjoy it!

Pc to Mac is an amazing adventure one i am completing as well since recieving a mac book pro as a present one small hinter is that to create a new older you hit the apple key and the end button located on the right side of your computer. I also feel riped due to the fact the webcam only works with ichat/aol not msn messenger
