27 Nov 2007 - Outlook to Entourage
So OUTLOOK has been good to me over the years, and as tragic as you might think it is, I have every email i've ever sent or received since 1995.

They are stored in pst data files - which have a capacity of 2 GIG, so in recent years i've had one for each yet.

Now, Entourage is working well, it's setup on the Exchange service no problem.  I'll get my GMAIL setup on it soon.

HOWEVER, I want my archives!

A quick look online has sketchy, or Difficult to use programs or instructions.

Keep in mind, I have outlook for Windows PST data files, and I'm using OS X with Entourage.

Help!

Try looking at this site for some tips on transfering the mail.

Also found references that the latest versions of Firefox/Thunderbird should import the pst files to mbox files which entourage will read.

Now this is not really fair, Outlook/Entourage is not something "Everybody" is going to run into. In a business world yes, Joe User is going to use Mail.app ( yes this is how us mac geeks talk about the mac mail program ) and probably Textedit.

Give the mac mail program a try and see how that works for the average user.

I'll see what I can find on import of Windows data to the Mac.

After all Microsoft really wants you to buy a windows pc and office not just office. That is why it is somewhat business unfriendly.
