| 29 Nov 2007 - Ctrl-Alt-Del = Apple-Option-Esc / to Force a program to QUIT |
 |
If on a PC you are used to killing a frozen program by pressing CTRL-ALT-DELETE, then TASK MANAGER - Choose the program and click END TASK.
What do you do on a MAC?
Well, from what I can report over the last few days, this is not something you are going to need (programs rarely freeze) (I have had plenty stop working, but the Mac seems to end it for you and advise you of that)
So - IF you do need to force a program to quit - click (Simultaneously) the Apple Key / Option and Escape Keys.
You will be prompted to choose a program - click FORCE QUIT and it's done!
