| Now, I haven't done any scientific testing here, lets be clear. BUT, on reading that the new CHROME BROWSER would 'scan for software updates every 25 hours, and download malware addresses every 30 minutes', i thought -"how much bandwidth will that take up?" | Another normal every day term has just been GOOGLED... CHROME - normally associated with the shiny metal bits on a car or appliance, now means "Google's Web Browser" First there was Netscape (well not FIRST, but certainly the first big one), then there was Internet Explorer, Then there was Firefox, and Apple's Safari (not essentially in that order).... | A lot of talk earlier in the year at the Annual Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas was about SONY's launch of the OLED product, the super thin new TV. These were something like 3mm thick, but for mine, the problem was they still had to be linked to a larger base which contained the all important connections and such. | Never! How dare you even consider the thought. You might remember some months back I spoke of the amazing 151cm SHARP Aquos LCD TV I had trailed. Wonderful viewing experience, and a HD picture which just filled my lounge. Imagine then a 165cm version!. | I received an email today from Google. Nope, nothing personal, not asking me for advice on their huge company. You see, earlier in the month, there were some pretty major outages, where mail was not available. I've had that many problems with my home internet I could never tell if it was me or Google at fault, and frankly, didn't care - it worked again soon, and I was happy.
