Well, it's done. CDMA is no more.
Midnight on Monday night, it all went down, slowly and as planned, if you were on an emergency call you were allowed to complete it, but by 1am, the Network was dead.
Searching for network....
That's what my CDMA phone says, and it can search all it likes, but it will not get anywhere. Not only has the network been switched off, very soon, all the equipment will be torn down, and recycled or sold off (perhaps to a country not yet at the mobile edge!)
As I said, CDMA is dead, long live Next G and other 3G networks..
