07 May 2008 - The EEE gets better.... EeePc 900
Some months ago when ASUS launched the EEEPC in Australia for $499, i told you it was a great buy, and a great little unit.

My only issues - the Screen Size, and not running Windows at that affordable price.

Well, get this - Today, ASUS Launched the EeePC 900.

8.9 inch screen, same solid state memory, plus an 8GIG Flash card, and Windows XP - $599!

Amazingly, the Linux version of the 900 is more - at $649, but comes with more storage.

I haven't tested it yet, but first impressions are excellent.

In addition to the bigger screen, and more memory, plus Windows, you get a better WebCam, and a mulit-touch mouse pad - a bit Apple iPhone like if you want.

Look forward to bringing you a full review in the coming weeks.

Just wondering about the new ASUS EeePC 900, does it come with a cd-rom or input device. for installation of software. or can you only do it through the internet.
