It must be soon, an announcement from Apple is surely imminent with Apple stores in the UK and the US listing the current iPhone as currently UNAVAILABLE.
Seems strange, but I'd expect Apple to announce a new range of iPhones, both upgrades to the current, plus a new 3G Version which will be the one we will see here in Australia - expect Telstra to hit the airwaves with heavy marketing for a NEXTG capable Apple iPhone!
Meanwhile the BLACKBERRY evolution continues, with an announcement also due soon on the new 9000 series, perhaps to be known as the BLACKBERRY BOLD - this will support GPS/WiFi AND 3G - finally!
Lots happening in the SMARTPHONE market in the coming months...
