14 May 2008 - Online Bookmarking
This is one for people who rarely use the same PC regularly.  Travellers, workers, or people with a shared environment.

Managing your bookmarks using thumbnails is now possible online using www.batamo.com - Batamo allows you to create thumbnails of your favourite sites to manage your bookmarks.

Personally, it's not for me - I rarely use bookmarks now, I have most of my regular links and feeds in my Google Homepage - but if you do need an online Bookmarking system, give BATAMO a try!

Great idea. I also use it as mentioned by Steve. I came across an article published by the batamO team which stated exactly as you used it Steve.

I am currently traveling around Australia with my 4WD and caravan.

I stumbled upon www.batamo.com and quickly found a great use for it.

During the month prior to my departure, whilst I was planning our travel, booking camping sites, and researching things-to-do, I also setup a batamO account and saved all my useful sites. In addition to travel informative sites, I have also saved online banking sites, utilities online services to allow the payment of my bills, and accommodation online booking sites. Now, although I have also printed several of these sites, I have a one stop shop for all my important sites. If I loose my travel folder, I would have no difficulty reprinting an other one.

Happy travel.
S

PS. I grouped sites into categories named after destinations (i.e. Cairns, Darwin, Pert, etc) and payment services (i.e. banking, utilities, etc)
