| After months and months of anticipation, Foxtel have released the pricing for their HD Service, called HD+. If you have FOXTEL now you'll notice new channels in the 200+ number range, ESPN HD, DISCOVERY HD, BBC HD, NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC HD, FOX SPORTS HD, as well as NINE, TEN, SEVEN and ABC HD. This is where they will stream this new high quality vision - at a price. First and foremost, $10 to upgrade yourself to the new IQ2 box. Then add to that your package choice: $6.95 for movies (in HD) $9.95 for SPORT $9.95 for Documentaries or $14.95 for both Sport and Documentaries. all that is on TOP of your current Foxtel Plan. If you have or want the EVERYTHING package, its now $130.90 for the HD style package Please, if you can afford it AND have a HD TV - go for it. BUT - a word of warning, do NOT bother upgrading if you do NOT have a BIG screen HD TV. I wouldnt bother with anything under 80cm. Love to hear your thoughts if you have it or want it! |
