Sydney has its second Apple Store. Opened this morning (August 9) at 9am, I took a sneak peak inside before the doors opened to the public. There were 30-40 people lined up outside even at 8am, ready for the opening once again, not to many retailers get queues in Australia! This is another example of apple's world leading design and layout. Simple. If ever anyone has stuck to the KISS theory of KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID, it is Steve Jobs with these Apple Stores. Not too many, but not too few laptops and iMacs available for you to pop in, surf the web on, and of course BUY, some great displays of iPhones, iPods and of course the many third party products that go with them. Having an iPhone in the family, we've looked for accessories (covers and such) and these are the first i've seen now, at the Apple store. Down the back lies a small version of the legendary GENIUS BAR where you can get your personal 15 minutes with an expert to help with anything Apple. Look, this is an outstanding store, simple and easy to find in Chatswod chase, just up the stairs from the Victoria St Entrance. If you have any interest in Apple, or, just want to check your email while you are shopping, check it out. You also will NOT find more friendly staff at any retailer in Australia, that is just another thing that staggers me. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
