11 Dec 2008 - The year according to Google
What's hot on the Internet around the world... There's only one person to ask.. Or at least one company... Google.

No single organisation knows more about what we're doing day to day than Google.  Sure the Government knows where we work, what we earn, among a host of other things... Sure the banks know how much we have and what we're spending...  But neither knows what we're thinking, and doing.

Google comes pretty darn Close..  But relax.  For the majority of what they know, the information is not in any way linked to a person or a name.

Each year in December, Google announce their END OF YEAR ZEITGEIST.

“Zeitgeist” means “the spirit of the times” Google's end of yearZeitgeist pages use aggregated search queries to determine the toptrends, fads and memes of the year..

So, what topped the list?
