| Hype worldwide is around the new Apple iPhone 3G S - and the Palm Pre - both magnificent devices. But not a lot of hype has ever REALLY spun around Blackberry - its been constant growth, in a core sector - corporate, with mass adoption outside that still yet to take. So why then is RIM not worried? The plans... they have plans. Here's 3 reasons: New Devices - Several due by Christmas, one will be the replacement Bold - smaller, better camera - just full of goodness No more Trackball - a pain for many, but don't jump yet, this will be a one off at first, but after that the trackball will go the way of the sidewheel - replaced by a laptop touchpad style tiny applicator which you stroke your finger over - very cool - and also seen on the newly announced Nokia N72. Finally - Operating System version 5. I've been testing this on my second device for a while. And I LIKE it. Many comments HERE but more than that, some below - Email attachment re-sizing is just ONE. This is a better, and more competitive operating system for sure. We wait, and we enjoy.
