| Expect official news soon, perhaps in the next month, that the Blackberry BOLD 2 is coming very soon. The device known to Blackberry news websites and fans for a long time now as the ONYX will in fact be the BOLD - What it will be marketed as is another question. Either the BOLD 9700 or the BOLD 2.  The team at blackberrycool.com have a pic of the latest handset, which shows the BOLD name clearly embossed into the back, with the almost trademark leatherette style backing in place too. They report that the new Bold will sport the TRACKPAD style navigation doing away with the trackball which has become such common place since the original Pearl began the downfall of the side mounted wheel. For anyone who has used the Blackberry 8900 as I have, and love it, this device is basically the 8900 with 3G and the BOLD keyboard. So it's a little bigger than the 8900, but that's just fine with me. This will be a great step forward, and will continue RIM's successful product run over the last 2 years.
