I've been using Google Maps on my Blackberry for some time. It's a great program, very easy to use.
I even purchased a GPO Recevier, which when connected via Bluetooth allows you to pinpoint your location and use it as a navigational tool.
Now, Google Maps Mobile 2.0 is out.

This is remarkable. Launch Google Maps Mobile 2.0, and using the phone towers around you, GMM pinpoints your location (not like GPS) but at least its Close!
Absolutely remarkable - give it a go!
