| The hype around the iPhone and the delay between it's US launch and the Launch here in Australia later this year really will prove successful for Apple in Australia. It's all people are talking about! Expect Optus to be a front runner for the phone, with SingTel links overseas giving that more ground, but really, it would be hard for Apple to shun the advanced marketing of Telstra's NextG network. That said, I'll tell you here and now, expect the Australian iPhone launch to be held in Sydney, Corner of King and George St's at the new APPLE STORE - which will be the biggest thing since sliced bread for die hard Apple fans. The store will be a real highlight along George St with it's huge Glass frontage opposite Darrell Lea and the old NRMA building. Still, it probably won't be until June/July at the least. waiting patiently... |
